Ochetoha K’Idoma(formerly known as Idoma National Forum) has sent a Christmas/New Year goodwill message to all Idoma people all over the world as Christians gear up to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on 25th December 2023.
In a statement made available to the media, the President General of Ochetoha K’Idoma, Air Vice Marshall Toni Adokwu(rtd), sent special seasons greetings to all Idoma people both at home and in the diaspora, recognising that most people would already be in their various traditional communities for the 25th December annual global celebration.
According to the helmsman of the foremest Idoma socio-cultural Organisation, “This should be a season to radiate love, peace and goodwill which will engender unity amongst idomas all over the world”, adding that Ochetoha K’Idoma Forum felicitated with all Idoma sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora while wishing all a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
AVM Tony Adokwu also cautioned against criminal activities and advised all idomas to remain vigilant and law abiding throughout the yuletide period, advising that suspicious movements and security breaches should be promptly reported to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
